Free Audio Editing Software - Audacity

Free Audio and Recorder Audacity is an open source freeware which you can easily use to edit and record audio. It is developed to be operational in Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating system. It is an open source free software means anyone can study and use its available source code. Editing

* Easy editing with Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete.
* Use unlimited Undo (and Redo) to go back any number of steps.

Recording

Audacity can record live audio through a microphone or mixer, or digitize recordings from cassette tapes, vinyl records, or minidiscs. With some sound cards, it can also capture streaming audio.

* Record up to 16 channels at once (requires multi-channel hardware).
